OCD Forum - How to Get Rid of the Embarrassment That Comes With Having OCD

Are commodity future option broker ever embarrassed when you are in front of people and you feel like you've got to perform some kind of ritual?

What can you do to deal with the embarrassment. You can be honest, and say, "I know this is stupid, but I am struggling with OCD and I want to perform a ritual, but I'm going to do it and it's going to bother me if I don't." You don't have to say this out loud, but to yourself. You can step out of the room and gather yourself.

You can then come back in and just face it. If people think you're weird for having OCD, let them. You know that if they suffered with those kind of thoughts they would be just as worried and bothered as you.

So here's Chocolate you do lonely OCD sufferer; You take a look at the situation and say, is this ritual logical? If you cannot honestly say that it is, then don't do it.

The most important thing for you to do is act like you don't have OCD.

You've got to fake it till you make it!

I assure you, if you continue acting like you don't have OCD and you don't give in, you'll be like me and look back and laugh at the fact that you ever felt like you had to do those things.

Don't lose heart. People usually give up right before they were going to make it. So stay strong!

Take action: For the next few days, refuse to do any ritual and see what happens. No one consolidating student loan ever died because they did not do a ritual, so don't worry.
