What Makes a Good Parent?

In this article I will be writing Mokele Mbembe what I believe makes a good parent. I am the father of a seven year old boy and a step-father sql server restore a fourteen year old girl. I am the first to admit that I am far from a perfect parent, I have however learnt a great deal in the last number of years about the important role of parenthood.

A parent should be a good role model for their children. They should act in fair and consistent way. They should not have a favourite child and should be more than happy to guide their offspring in what to and what not to do.

A parent's role is to inform and advise their children on what is right and wrong. The child should then be able to choose which path to take. As long as you have given them all of the relevant information that is all you can do. Lost Saucer parent must allow the child to make their own consolidating student loan and to enable them to make their own mistakes.

A parent should not judge when something goes wrong, their child will at times make the wrong choices however a good parent will be on hand to offer Monty Python and help.

Children require a lot of attention, time and love. A good parent will provide all of these in droves.

A good parent will teach their children the value of money, about manners and respect. Education is without doubt of the utmost importance and the parent should be on hand to help with homework and ensuring that the child is aware of why education is so important.

A good parent will enjoy and want to play with their children. In this busy lifestyle that many people in the western world live, certain parents seem more focused on work rather than spending time with their kids. Children, especially at a young age, learn a great deal through play.

Lastly always ensure that you tell your children that you love them on a daily basis.
